My CNY Updates

I celebrate two new years: 1st Jan of every year that follows the Calendar, and the 1st Jan of every year that follows Lunar Calendar.

Oh Yeah baby it's Chinese New Year!!!! No other days are better than Chinese new year because you get to eat many things you don't eat often, visit people that you don't visit often, and gamble like no tomorrow!

Today is the 10th day of CNY. Let me review what I have done for my CNY ^^

My Leaves
I have 4 days of new year eve! Why? Because I took leave two days before weekends. And why again? Because I need to start working on the third day of CNY. Not enough, I took another two days leave on Monday and Tuesday because I'm mad that my leaves on CNY were not approved.

New Year Clothes
I went Pavillion with my mom and dad and bro to buy new year clothes on Sunday. It's chinese tradition to buy new clothing for new year to represent we turn over a new leaf, have new hopes and new resolution in new year! RM500++ for my clothing. I love you mummy and daddy! My bro was in such a good mood that day because he gets to see Jay Chou!

My sister saw me bought a lot of new clothes and she jelly. So we went on Friday (or Thursday I forgot) to buy new year clothes. She bought even more, RM700++. Now I jelly :P

Same day we went to buy new year clothes for bro. He don't like nice clothes, he only like MU clothes. So we went Nike and bought the most expensive MU shirt. Damn he was so happy!

My dad jelly now. He doesn't have any new clothes for CNY. On eve itself, my sis accompany dad to Body Glove to buy clothes. My dad loves Body Glove because the pants can last long, but not the t-shirts. However, my dad bought two shirts from there. Not enough, he is still jelly. We went again to Pavillion on the 2nd day of CNY to shop even more clothes for my dad. Finally, he is satisfied.

The Lanterns
Three years ago I think, my mom started to like shopping lanterns for CNY. She wants to put lanterns in front of the porch and put for one whole year. We moved house, used to use the previous owner's lanterns. They are old. So my mom and dad went to Petaling Street to buy the two big lanterns. This time no more fancy flowers around the lanterns, just two big red lanterns. I like the simplicity of them ^^

My Ang Pows
When we were young, we will hand in our ang pows to our mom every time we get ang pows. But since a few years ago, we started to get rebellious and wanted to keep our own ang pows. Hohoho. Of course this is not permitted. Sad case. Mom will still keep our ang pows!

Usually after we get our ang pow, we will keep them until the 15th day of CNY, then we will open and see the amount inside, count them together and put them into bank. This year, mood spoilt :( only on 3rd day, all the ang pow money are already in bank. You spoil CNY mood lah mom!

Gamble
Chinese people loves to gamble during CNY. This tradition in my family (my mom side) only starts few years ago. My family usually hates gambling. I'm not sure how we started it. We play black jack (or we call ONE LUP). We play small, only RM1. We don't gamble for the money, we gamble for the fun of it, and we only gamble when my god mom came back from Singapore :)

I have to work on the third day of CNY. My boss is considerate enough to let me work from home. But guess what... my aunts brought the gamble table and put in front of my study room! "Come come gamble gamble~~~", they lured me. In the end I give in and gamble during my lunch break. Hohoho I won RM5 :D

During new year eve, my parents went back to KL while we were in our hometown. Out of boredom, we went to the nearest shop to buy poker cards and millionaire. Ahhh.. it's such a nostalgic moment when we saw our childhood stuffs.

We played poker with our cousin brother because we heard he is good at it when he stayed in hostel last time. We don't play with money, we played with Bananas! The rule is, whoever lost in the game, will have to eat one banana! Guess what? Because my sister don't want to be the last person and the loser, she simply play with the cards. My cousin has no choice but to break his nice cards and lose most of the games.

And guess who is the loser?.... It's me T_T The one who ate most of the bananas has to eat the last banana, and another mandarin orange. I have an ulcer in my mouth... and I chose the most sour mandarin orange from the basket T_T

I'm a bit long winded because I'm excited with new year. This is what we did for CNY. I play hard, work hard, gamble hard and shop hard!

I thought I wouldn't like CNY before eve. I started to like it during eve, and LOVE it when it's the first day!!!

Things that we haven't done for new year: Sing K! Lai lai lai saudara saudari kakak abang adik, mari sing k!

And this year my new year resolution: Treat my family a good meal, and able to give my parents extra money during next CNY.

Target money for the first year. More to come :)

Peaceful Birthday 2012

Not working today. Yeah. It's my birthday! I don't care a shit about what will be happening in office... ngek ngek ngek...

My birthday agenda...

10.00am: Wake up from bed. Arr~ what a great time to wake up. Ate my breakfast: my birthday cake + milo. Yum Yum!

11.00am onwards: On my i7, upload some pictures, update my blog with pictures, facebook awhile, chat with my friends, gtalk with my sister...

1.00pm: Have my lunch. Oh my! Long time never had my mom's cooking lunch! The most happiness moment!!!

2.00pm: Sister went out, so I drove my car in and wash my car... The last time my car was being cleaned, was one week plus ago. And this non-filial daughter let her dad washed her car. This time I have to wash myself. Wash and vacuum and clean my carpets! Blink blink car!

3.30pm: Finished shower and go facial with mom. It's my birthday today so the girl free me with one scrubbing treatment!

6.30pm: Finished facial and go home. Mom cooked Braised Yee Mee for bad-tempered brother.

8.30pm: Off to Piano class.

10.30pm: Car petrol signal blinking. Went to the first smaller Shell but out of RON 95. Went to another bigger Shell. Quite scary. The convenient shop is closed, no other cars... I hesitate awhile before I came down from my car and get the petrol. I saw another two cars came parked and pump petrol only I get down from my car and fill in the tank. RM60.10

10.45pm: Online and confirmed photo album for my friend. Upload the photos! Update my blog again~!

Something about my birthday in 2012:

I received 2 sms that wishes me Happy Birthday.
2 facebook message that wishes me Happy Birthday because they can't post on my wall.
Another facebook message from my primary schoolmate. I'm touched she still remember :)
Another sms after I bumped into her mom.
Msn message that confirmed with me birthday. LOL.

I feel weird sometimes. My friends always thought my birthday is in February 12, or January 14... This combination is just.. weird eh?

It's hard to get us all together during weekdays. We had our dinner celebration last night @ Zun Kichenette, Yu Yan Sang.

On that day 9th Jan, we bought him a cake.

No more fancy cakes from Secret Recipe. They are too big and too sweet. Our all time favourite Pandan Cake. From Wo Chong...

At first, I get food poisoning. Ate some rotten tofu and papayas. I asked for two days mc and seems to my boss it's not so convincing.

Next, my i7 again giving me something really weird. My graphic card is acting really weird. I better check whether is warranty is still available.

Oh! What a great start of 2012. I thought I will only get bad luck if it's my zodiac year? It's dragon this year, not snake :(

2011 is coming to an end. And that means that I am getting older by another year.

What I've done for the year? Expecting links all over the place in this post! ^^

I finished my studies in December 2010, and lepak for around 3 months. Finally in April year 2011 I found my first permanent job in my life. I have my first namecard in my life also.

I looked back at my blog archive... I'm so free in January 2011 man! I wrote 17 entries! Maybe because I have so many special things to tell and yes.. I'm so free ^^

I looked at my blog again. I saw the Plurk. I've stopped plurking for a really really long time. I don't even like to tweet. Hmmm... Facebook is still my first choice wor. Even Google plus... I seldom on it because the app is quite lag in my Android.

Alright, going back to what I've done during my 2011:

1. I'm on newspaper! And my picture become the cover of the newspaper! Geng mou?

2. I had my most incredible birthday party of mine - my 21st birthday. It's my 21st, and my sister helped me to plan my birthday. Damn happy! It's all PINK! I design my own invitation card (although they are not sent), program, decorate my own house, cook my own food! Thanks to my mom especially that cooked all the nice food! She even cooked the second pot of curry because my friends love it!

3. And in the same year. I watched two concerts. Jay Chou, and Jacky Chueng. Out of these two? JACKY CHEUNG love love!!!!

4. I covered some songs. I wanted to do it for quite sometime already. And I reviewed them back. It's a good learning process ^^.

5. We moved house!

6. I start working as a part time music teacher. I wrote a post about birthday of my little student here.

7. Performed in Show Choir twice in public. But I didn't really write them down. One in Taman Budaya KL, Time Square. Performed also in Bad Apples twice, one is SMK Taman Tun (really forgot the name), another one is Animangaki 2011. Another post written by one of the member of the band. These performance not up to standard I know.. But good experience!

And so what is my plan so far for year 2012?

So far.. I only have one plan:

Avril Lavigne The Black Star Tour (2012)! Saturday 8.30pm. Going with my brother!

And... I wanna buy a property.

Other plans? Seriously I haven't think of that yet. Maybe after Chinese New Year, you might see me update blog again, about my new year resolution.

In Holiday mood still... hehehe.

张学友1/2世纪巡回演唱会 - 马来西亚第二场

演唱会票还没有正式售卖，我们托Maybank Amex的福，买了全家人都去看的票，星期五。

看完之后的感想，只有两个字可以形容他的演唱会：诚意。

很有诚意的一场演唱会。

三个小时的演唱会，虽然张学友感冒了，还是坚持唱足三个小时。虽然假音不分可以听的出沙哑的部分，但是如果没有学过唱歌的人，都还是听不出。

为什么会喜欢张学友？从小爸妈就是张学友的粉丝，记得小时候每天爸爸会在家里播张学友的歌，那年代流行的歌，我想我都会吧！

一直到最近张学友在音乐上的转型，才没有什么知道他的新歌。

这个演唱会分成好几个部分：Musical 音乐剧，Rock 摇滚，舞曲，Jazz 爵士，还有最后一个部分，就是他所有脍炙人口的歌曲。

每一个部分，我都好喜欢好喜欢！尤其是音乐剧的部分！

这个音乐剧是他要表达他的爱情观，所有他的爱情歌曲，我最喜欢的两首歌：《你的名字，我的姓氏》和《如果爱》，我还是第一次听他的歌听到流泪了。

更不用说他摇滚飙高音，《吻别》用摇滚方式唱，真的我简直听到疯狂了！而爵士的部分，我最喜欢《十二个音》！

对于以前没有机会看张学友的演唱会，我实在没有遗憾了！

P.S: 我一直有一个小小的愿望，就是可以成为张学友的徒弟 :P

上星期三病了，所以拿了病假去看了医生。

本来要去看一分钟医生，可是他们放假。只好去隔壁那我不很相信的医生。我不要吃抗生素，要求医生不要开给我，他也答应了。

有点惊讶，我只是感冒他开止痛药给我。还是不很相信他，所以只吃了他给的伤风药。哎哟，反正只是要拿个简单的病假休息，感冒而已吗！喝多点水就好了。

结果感冒了一个礼拜，好像越来越严重。感冒是没了，可是就不停的咳嗽，鼻涕还是酱多酱稠，而且还会头痛。没有办法之下，去看了平时看的专科医生。

“你怎么不吃抗生素？你这是鼻窦炎！”

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

最近的确是工作过度，压力过大，睡觉太迟，免疫力下降了。

爸爸说的对，工作压力是自己给的。如果病倒了，谁可怜你？

教训：
病从浅中医。如果生病了，请看一个信得过的医生，然后好好吃药疗养。不要像我酱自作主张，结果赔了夫人又折兵（看了两次医生，不要吃药要却吃更多药了）。

还有，不要看那个在Mahkota Cheras 的印度医生。真的很“水脚”。

What A Saturday~

It's been long since I have the feeling of TGIF.

I sleep as long as I wish, until 10.30am. Like usual, my mom will wake me up.

She is going out. "I want to join! I wanna see grandma!"

A day which I went out yamcha with my mom, bro, aunt. Then I went to visit my grandma.

Although we just sit and watched TV, I think my grandma was glad that we went to visit her.

Then I went to do facial. Skin is really sensitive and really need some treatment.

Reached home and played my piano. OH how I miss touching the keys of my piano! Played a few songs. Although not very good but I enjoy it very very much!

Came down and prepare to wash my car. My little white is going to be little black very very soon....

Then my mom received a phone call. My cousin sister is coming to visit us today. She said it's because she didn't have chance to come to my house during our housewarming.

The first thing that came to my sister's mind: she is going to sell something to us again.

Oh well, since we have guests, we have to clean up our house already. I swept and mopped the floor, then only I joined my father who was washing my car.

Had a great dinner with the guests. Then the story starts.

She is really selling things again. Sigh. Last time was some funny stocking, this time is some funny bed. She even brought it with her and carry down from her car.

Pity mummy... had to listen to their marketing stuffs.

Anyway, she is not going to spoil my Saturday! I then washed dishes for my mom and start working on netbeans and mysql. I miss the feeling of java programming!

My OK day

Today I have an ok day.

Just when I thought there is no jam, the jam starts. At least only after I think. Thats is ok, I was just late a bit to office.

The purpose I go early was to find marketing ppl. But all the marketing ppl were on leave and I don get the thing I want. That is still ok. I get some other ppl to get my thing although i nid to walk three times.

My superior asked me to come early but he only turned up one and a half hour later. That is still ok cuz I wont be so stressed up in the morning.

Then the game planned was not achieved as planned. But I personally think success 50% so still ok.

At nite go choir jam 1.50 hr still ok. Cuz we have makan session after that.

Then when go back saw three accidents on my way home still ok becuz not serious accident and doesnt caused much jam. Just another half an hour more to reach home so still ok.

So when I come back the guard close gate liao still ok cuz they open the gate for me.

And now I'm here writing the ok entry.

After 10 months of waiting RMIT to hold a convocation in Kuala Lumpur, I finally graduated!!!

Damn happy.

I give myself a "Convocation Leave". Of course, the leaves are deducted from my Annual Leave. As long as I'm happy!

Previously I bought a voucher from Everyday to go facial in Glamour Skin, Cheras Selatan. I think that's quite good. So I brought my mom and belanja her to do a 'Pre-Convo' facial.

After my show choir workshop, I had a 'Pre-Convo-Dinner' with my lecturers and college mates! It feels so good to meet everyone again! Especially the one that came back from Singapore. I miss him so much!

Wake up in the morning, showered and make up, and dashed to Intercontinental Hotel. Silly me, collected my robe without even registering.

Wore the robe and started to take photos like mad. But silly me, I didn't bring my camera. Luckily I remember on my way to the hotel and reminded my family to bring it for me.

I'm lucky to have a photographer friend. I love the photos he took for me!

Finished teaching in the music centre, I went back to hometown to take photos with my grandma. Grandma was sleeping in the living room when we reached. I drag my eldest and second uncle to take photos with me too!

Had tea time with my uncle, tapau for my grandma. Wanted to buy some cakes and food from hometown but it's a Sunday, most of the shops and food are closed. Finally found a stall that are selling kuih. Bought 3kg of kuih only cost RM18. Cheap!

Post-Convo

Another day of leave that I took for my Convocation Leave, I went back to Uni with my friends to meet my friends and also lecturers.

Had lunch with friends and lecturer.

My Chicken with mushroom sauce rice. Cost me RM 8.30.

Saw some changes in the school.

Autopay machine.

Unix Lab no longer uses black screen and green font. They have GUI for Linux.

They are putting tiles for the floor.

But you can see at the left hand corner? Some parts of the floor are not tiled. Weird design.

And finally the school of computing is combined with engineering school, not mass comm =.=

After that, went to Silver Light Studio in Serdang to take my graduation photo - studio version. My brother said it's even more difficult than playing basketball/football. Dad was so stiff when taking photos... Hohoho! Those are my guys at home :D

I'm a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree student. =)

Thanks for letting me study in such a good school. I love you daddy and mummy!

I've been busy practising with Bad Apples this week.

What is Bad Apples?

It's actually a JRock band, from lowyat.

We had a performance yesterday, in Animangaki 2011, Sunway University.

This is my first time performing in this event, second time for this band.

We run one round before the performance, last minute practice.

Ate our 'lunch' and got ourselves all wet because of the rain.

Carry a lot of guitars and went into the college. And get to know, our performance is being delayed.

Cosplayers and Anime related stalls all around the hall.

We suppose to start at 5.30pm, was delayed until 6 something.

There were times during the changing of songs, the drum set's bass were out of the place and needed to be adjusted. That makes our band performance get even more delayed.

It was late, the crowd were gone. Left with cosplayers and workers.

Anyway, it was a quite successful performance. At least this time I'm not pushing myself too hard to sing and spoil my voice and song. But still weak at low notes. Gonna improve that next time.

And be more 'genki' next time :)

Someone suppose to record our performance. The bassist brought a tripod, but... non of us has a camera.. :(

Out of creativity, he tied his wife's phone on the tripod with rubber band instead. :D

It makes a lot of differences during holidays, as a student, and as a working adult.

Holidays...

Student: Play hard study smart!!! I want to play until no-days-no-nights!

Working: Nah~ I just want to lie on my bed and relax whole day at home.

Why so no life wan!!!

Hehe...

Anyway...

At least this time, I found my life back.

Day 1 - The Jungle Girl

It's actually Merdeka day. I suppose to be working in my office (got OT man!) But I promised my family to take that day off and spend a night in my home town.

We took off around noon, and reached Bentong around late lunch time. We sat below our native's office and had the Chee Chong Fun, economy noodles and Chicken Rice!

Then we reached our home sweet home around 3pm. It's so grateful to see my grandmom sitting in the living room, and waved to us.

The real purpose of coming home today is actually cleaning up my dad's rubbish in front of the door. We took all the rubbish up to the truck and off we go!

Destination = Krau.

It's my uncle's durian farm. But there are lots of other fruits as well. Bananas, coconuts, cocoas, palms...

We put down the garbage, and we troll around the farm. Sitting behind the truck, my dad drove deeper into the farm.

We plucked three coconuts and brought home. * Now my dad is cutting them ^^ *

Then we helped to clean up the house like what we usually did when we were home.

And had dinner nearby.

When we were waiting for the food to be served, there a few neighbours passing by our table, and greeted my grandmom.

That is the reason why my grandmom had always wanted to go back to her house.

After we had our dinner and shower, we ride into the truck and wanted to see my cousin's new bungalow. It's behind our aunt's house.

It's late at night and we somehow get lost when we tried to get back. Luckily we have a GPS sister in the car and lead us back to the right track.

As usual also, we went to visit our aunt. Had jokes and laughs with our cousins and aunt. My dad loves to visit my aunt. She is my dad's closest sibling I can say.

Had our supper, and went home.

Whenever we were back to hometown, we will have a lot of stories to listen to. Like my relatives gossips, my dad and mom's childhood memories, and what are the old buildings and nice food around.

Day 2 - Makan and Shopping

The first thing we woke up, we crave for the chee cheong fun in hometown. The best that I've ever tasted in my life. No other chee cheong fun can beat Sempalit Chee Cheong Fun!!!

Then we went to 'Bu Kee' in pasar food court to taste the sempalit taste Wantan Dried Noodles. We ordered two plates of noodles, and three bowls of 'Tau Foo Fa'.

No other places with the taste of sempalit Tau Foo Fa! But my siblings said there is another similar taste Tau Foo Fa in Sg Long... I've never tasted so I don't know.

My mom went to call the aunty and asked if the Sg Long Tau Foo Fa is opened by her daughter... LOL! But the aunty so good says want to teach my mom how to make Tau Foo Fa.

Chatted for almost 30 mins, the noodles had yet to be served. We were late, and they had so many customers. In the end, the noodles are not as expected. We left with disappointment.

Hopped on to the car, waved to my grandma and off we back to KL. It's a holiday. My dad wants to buy a coat for my convocation. So we went to Pavilion.

Parkson is a really good place to shop for these formal wears. After a few attempts and brands, my dad decided to buy an expensive one. This is purely due to my dad's figure ><

I actually want to pay for his coat. But damn Maybank doesn't allow my card to go through. Kudos to Maybank! And that even made my mom thought I didn't pay off my cards. Oh SECOND DAMN MAYBANK!

T_T So my dad paid that himself.

I tried again when buying my brother's MU bag in Nike. It works! KUDOS 3RD TIME FOR MAYBANK!

Day 3 - Home Clean Home

I took leave for today. I've never felt that way before since I start working. I can wake up whatever time I wanted. And laugh at my sister because she had to work XD

Finally I have time sitting down in front of my dual-monitor-i7-sexy-babe and backup my files. I've gave up on Hackintosh and Ubuntu. I'm making it fully Windows 7.

Before going to office, my mom ordered us to clean up the house. So I backup some files, and went to sweep and mop the floor.

I've never did that since I moved to this house. I either sweep only the upper floor, or only the lower floor. It is exhausting to sweep the whole house!

And it's my date with my sister! We went to Isetan in The Gardens with my season pass. Damn Syok!

And when I stepped into the mall, I saw Wan May and friends again! 3rd time meeting them in Mid Valley!

She claimed that Mid Valley is her second home. No Doubt!

I told my sister I want to try out some casual clothes, and clothes for performance on Saturday. In the end, we only bought 70% discounted accessories.

My sister craved for Gong Cha. So we went to buy and shared the drink. Had a Oyster Fried Meehon and bought a box of Tai Thong Mooncake back home.

We selected a low sugar mooncake for dad. I think he was happy that we bought mooncake back and straight away asked me to cut for him to eat. Hohohoho!

Day 4 - Jamming

A really lazy day. It's a Saturday.

Woke up quite late and had a small fight with brother (over the laundry).

But I promised to go to the jam session for practise. Less than one week for practise already. I haven't finished memorizing all my lyrics!

The practise goes pretty well. Just feel that without Myc everyone was not as organized. Anyway, we managed to sort something out!

Usually I will leave earlier after the practise sessions, but this time I decided to stay. Had KFC with them and get to know more about the band members. I can feel their passion about Animes, so much! They can like the anime so much until to the voice cast members, their music, even the concert the artists had!

Still I left early (compared to them). Reached my house and saw my parents washing my car! Woohooo! Time to wash my car also!

Sister came back from dating and bought us dinner. A dinner from no-name-fried. We accidentally ate more already :P

I stopped and had my dinner, and then continued to wash my car.

My car antenna was stolen back last week. My dad bought a new antenna for my car and installed it for me. This time, he put a PVC protection over the antenna and heat it with FIRE!!! Omg it looked so horrible when he heat the PVC. It's like burning my antenna :P

Then we watched TV together. It's a programme by Ah Xian (Jason) in Astro. He interviewed people that makes different in life. A really got programme. I will watch it with my family every week!

I still wake up late today. It's a Sunday - My last day of holiday. Time to settle my sexy i7. Formatted on Friday night, and it's time to get all my applications back. And this is when I blog about my holiday in this post.

I decided to work on Sunday too! What a no life me.

Usually when we work on weekends, we will have an amount of allowance to eat something really nice for lunch.

So after work, I felt guilty, get my swim suit and head to gym for a swim.

Finished with swimming and relieved, I walked all my way back to The Gardens to get my car.

It's a Ramadhan Sunday night. Malay music performance going on in Mid Valley Centre Court.

It's a romantic Sunday night. The Garden's Garden having musician playing on the white baby grand piano singing Bruno Mars' "Just the way you are".

It's a chilling Sunday night. Crew in T.G.I Friday singing some songs to the customer celebrating his birthday.

When I walked to the ground floor of The Gardens, I saw a lot of people standing outside a restaurant called Zuok, staring at the same direction.

I thought there might be some performance too! Let me go near and see what's it about.

There were no music, no clown, nor performance.

It's just a TV.

My first thought was, "Hey! You guys drive all your way to Mid Valley here, gone through the jams, paying expensive parking, and standing here to watch TV?"

I walked near the crowd and look closely...

I didn't know Lee Chong Wei is playing tonight. What a lame me. :(

Whenever I want to blog, I can't think of a topic to blog about. So it has been really long time since my last writing in here.

Guess where am I?

Hehe... I'm working in my office.

But I'm not the only one OT in my office. I guess all of them who decided to OT today has the same motivation by the allowance we are going to get.

Yes, I do need money. Graduation is coming. They are measuring in aussie dollars! T_T

I'm tired.

But when it comes to working here, it's like a war. Learning many things that I've never learned before. Solving repetitive or new problems everyday.

I found out that, when I get to be good at something, I'm satisfy and more happy to do it.

But when mentally tired, I find something online to read, blogs. (My office doesn't block most of the website! Only FB. Thank god!)

I'm my sister's blog loyal follower. And recently I love to read gapnap's blog.

Reading this post, I feel so guilty.

Before I even start taking this job, I already telling myself, I will pick my lifestyle over money. I will play piano everyday, even though just for a while. I will only go teaching on weekends.

Now? It's just after a few months....

I didn't touch my piano for more than 2 weeks now. I'm teaching one of the weekend night. I'm working full time on Sat and Sun.

I suck a big time.

I should create another label called 'No Life Silly'.

Pooja, Happy Birthday!

I know I know... It's a little late to wish this baby girl a Happy Birthday. But... still, HAPPY BIRTHDAY POOJA!

Wondering who is Pooja? She's a student in my piano class. It's her birthday last Saturday.

On that day itself, when we were forming train and singing some song, she ran straight into a table and knocked his nose. All red and OUCH!

But kids are always kids. She was crying really loud. But after we sang her birthday song and with her little birthday party in the class, she was all smiling again.

Too bad that day I need to rush to another place for a gathering with my friends. I didn't get to taste the cake or give her a birthday hug.

Arrr~ Kids are really really cute. Sometimes seeing them again makes my day! :)

真的太久没有写日志了，勿怪我我不太会表达，很多时候觉得自己太长气，干脆不写了：P

回到正题。

做工都快4个月了。老实说，之前都有跟妈妈打过工，大都预料到做工的情况是如此了。

唯一不同的是……跟妈妈做可以发脾气，跟别人做要受别人的脾气。

以前总是在做事情不愉快、不顺利，就把矛头指向妈妈，没有好好给指示，系统凌乱，甚至到头来不要做。

如今，指示不明确，不会问？系统凌乱，那我请你来干嘛？不明白，给你资料自己去读。问题来了？雪球一传再传，直到快要爆炸了，才来解决。不会做？那是你的事。不关你的是？也是你的事。

最恐怖的是，权利的区分。

我想，这也是为什么当初我一直要在比较小的公司做工吧。

这并不针对任何人，只是我想这就是职场上的情况吧。

压力的确是有，有时候真的很想要哭。我承认我自己不是一个很坚强的人，甚至可以说有一点懦弱。可在职场上你就不能显示哪怕那一点点的懦弱。

所以，我要学习更加坚强。

望一望窗外，

明天会更好。

In music, it is always hard to realise how bad we have done playing the music. At that moment, all we can think of is:

"I've done my best, no regret!" - William Hung.

True. When you are playing a piece or music, you can't really actually know what you have been playing. You always think that you have already played very nicely and wonderful. But in the end, your performance is all about, whether you can capture your audience's heart or not.

I always thought that I'm a soprano, I can sing high notes.
During the recording of this two tracks, I also feel that: Hey! Not bad! I can sing high notes.

But hey! Today I just realise that, I couldn't catch the pitch accurately. I couldn't change from real to fake voice smoothly, and I couldn't produce an unstressful high pitch. (Yeah, the high pitch part makes me sounds like I'm scolding people).

OMG!

Luckily I record them down. Now I have a reason to improve. Yeah! Improve myself :)

What is coming?

I always think that I am smart. I always think I can do a lot of things good in the same time.

But I'm wrong.

I have a Computer Science degree certificate, and a ngam ngam pass Grade 8 Piano certificate.

But am I master of both? No.

I'm not an IT job right now, a job that anyone with IT background could do. I looked at some part time job, found some freelance programming job. Then I found out that, I have no experience at all. Nobody will want to hire a non-experience programmer to do their project! And I know myself well, that it's impossible for me to do that project too.

I'm teaching small kids singing and piano for part time, but I can't even play properly a song which consists of only Do Re and Mi.

I was chatting with my friend working in Singapore. He was telling me he has planned the tasks to do for the day. Me? I'm reading blog. Damn!

Compared to him, I'm a shit. I have no clear plans at all. I don't know what am I doing in my work place, I'm always busy for my music lessons, or rushing for my tasks, because sometimes I really work slow :(

Now I'm in deep shit. With the salary I'm earning, I hardly pay off my commitments. I own a car, go to gym, and need to pay for my music lessons.

Then I was thinking what are the things I could do to earn more money.

Then I try to look for some music-related part time job. Maybe gigs, maybe some recordings.

Then last Sunday I went to Broadway Academy to attend a small musical recital: Les Miserables. Compared to the professional singers performing that night, I'm such an amateur!!! Who will want to hire an amateur???

I'm pro at nothing, NOTHING AT ALL!

I read a post today. He is right. We can't be 5-5 good in both things, we have to choose to lean at one side. Then only we can make our decision faster.

I'm half way hanging, that's why I'm a master in nothing.

I shall think what I want, and start to plan today. Music or IT? I can't have both.

Instead of using the machines, I choose to swim in GYM. Can make myself more energetic in the morning.

Wednesday, my second time to go swim... I saw an uncle by the pool.

There was a generator, and a bunch of tubes beside the pool.

There was another guy swimming in the pool.So I didn't really care much, and jumped into the pool.

After a few minutes, the guy came up, and went to the jacuzzi pool instead.

I still didn't care much, continue my swimming.

Until....

The uncle by the pool put the tubes into the pool....

HE WANTED TO CLEAN THE POOL! ~~ToT~~ I was here for only 5 mins and you clean the pool, UNCLE!!! Ruined my swimming mood.

A Singapore Trip

The first time we visit Singapore for this short of period. Going on Saturday, and coming back on Sunday.

Dad forgot to bring his sunglasses so he had a hard time driving. Love you dad for keeping us safe :)

Once we arrived in Singapore, we had our lunch in my aunt's house. She asked Aunt Maria to cook a really really nice lunch for us to eat.

Then I say I want to visit the Singapore version of Low Yat Plaza - Sim Lim Square. Waited AY, YS, and Nelly to meet. Meet my darlings at Bugis. Went one round in Sim Lim Square before they came. Disappointed. Their gadgets are so expensive :(

Met them at around 5pm. We went to the temple for a look and then to eat some dessert. There is a BBQ party at night in my aunt's condo.

Have fun chatting with my KC friends. Although some of their topics I can't really join, but I doubt how many more chances I could talk to them like that. I miss them so much, and we talked about our secondary school life back then.

"The physics lab has 6 rows!" :D

We ate a lot at the BBQ party. The curry was really really nice! It was cooked by Aunty Maria. My aunt's condo has a very pretty swimming pool. Initially I wanted to ask them to bring over their swimsuit... but.... Since me myself doesn't have one, LOL~ I didn't ask them to bring... evil huh! :P

They left at around 9pm. Miss them a lot. I hope next time will have more time to travel around Singapore with them, and also CASINO! Nelly you faster 21 years old hehehe...

The next morning, after we had breakfast at home, we went to buy shoes and some clothes with pemborong price. :P Not even ate our lunch, we start our engine to go back to Malaysia already.

There's a little jam along the highway. Reached home at around 9pm and had our dinner somewhere near our place.

A really short journey yet happy family-friends trip. Really hope there will be more time for us next time though.

A Fine Thursday Morning

Wake up at 7.30am this morning. Clean up myself and get some clothes that needed to be changed later during badminton session.

Then off I go with my white and pretty car at 8.00am.

Paid a RM1.30 toll and no jam along the way to office until Connaught highway.

Met a car that drove really really slow (50km/h) and blocked my way. I wanted to honk him but... it's a fine Thursday morning, why want to honk other people?

So I just scold !@#$^&%^$ in my car. Didn't show my tallman tho.

Met another car which don't know how to take corner turns and was in the middle of two lanes, moving slow and blocking my way. It's a Black Myvi. Wanted to honk at it but.... it's a fine Thursday morning, why want to honk other people?

I didn't scold this time. I just laugh at it. He/She doesn't know drive please don't come out the house ok?

Still able to reach office before 9.00am.

Non of any team members are here yet. I'm the first one.

A Hair Cut

I bought this voucher from Everyday.com.my

It's a haircut voucher including Hair Cut + Wash + Blow + Treatment, costs RM36.

I happily bought the voucher and wanna go with my sister.

Since it's a public holiday today, I plan to use the voucher. However, due to some incident happened lately, my sister refuse to go with me. So I booked an appointment with Crop Studio and ask my friend to tag along.

The hair wash was ok (If their hair wash can be bad, I think the salon can't last any longer). But after the hair wash....

I regretted.

First, their hair treatment is.... so simply. The girl just divide my hair into 5 portion, and just apply the hair spa/mask/treatment thingy onto the hair. She just simply de-tangled my hair. OMG! My hair was so badly tangled and she just simply do it? Oh well fine let's see what happen next.

She put my hair into the steamer. The steamer wasn't that hot and is still bearable. After a few minutes, the steam was ready but the girl was with someone else and didn't even bother about me. I think the time that I waited her to discover that the treatment was ready is longer than the time of the treatment. Fine.

Went to rinse my hair and all that, prepare to cut my hair.

This girl is so damn slow... She started doing my hair earlier than the other guy doing my friend's. My friend was ready and waited for me at the sofa there I think more than half an hour. Fine.

And the most terrible thing is.... she cut my fringe like shit. LIKE SHITTTT!

I want to cut a style, but she insisted the one she cut. Oh well, she's a hairstylist anyway. But but but..... T_T Damn you! Now I look so shitty. How to go to office tomorrow?

P.S: We went to a nearby cafe to have our lunch/tea time after the hair cut. I checked my email via the wifi and found out that there are other salon with lower prices, offering the same kind of voucher.

Performing in Show Choir

Joined Broadway Show Choir for 1 month, and this is our first performance :)

In Taman Budaya KL, we performed True Colors, with Soloist Eunice.

I didn't know how we performed, but at least when we are on stage as a group, I don't feel so nervous.

And I love Dina's Listen. She is really a good singer! I enjoyed her Performance really really very much! Runner up in Malaysian Idol is not joking wei~~~

Jay Chou Concert Update

I wrote about Jay Chou's Concert in Malaysia 2011.

We actually took some pictures during the concert. I didn't extract from my phone last time. Since today I saved all the pictures into my desktop, here I post all the pictures.

The hands are free to get. Instead of buying the Lights sticks for the concert, all of the 'Kiam Siap' us went and get the 'hands'.

This is our seat at the hall.

But one thing I dislike about the concert, is the organizer Speedy. You see the place that we are sitting? It's blocked by the full PA system. Next time if you guys want to go to a concert, please note that if it's organized by Speedy, think THREE TIMES before you buy the tickets.

It's been a long time since my last update

I don't know what I've been up to lately.

April salary was out, but then left not much for the month of May to spend on myself. According to my records in April, it's a negative. Not a good sign.

Worked for one month already, and now then only I really thinking about my future. I always longing to work in IT field but now only I realized that... perhaps I don't really suit in this. Somehow now my job is to sustain another dream of mine.

My boss asked me to work on weekends, but I couldn't. He say he will drop me off from the list... I feel like... Will this leave a bad impression in my boss's eyes?

Tomorrow is Monday again. Routine life again. Wake up > Jam & breakfast > Work > Lunch > Work > Jam > Home > Dinner > Sleep > Repeat again. Seems like the life is so dry eh?

I heard in a radio program before, the DJ really salutes those who could work from 9-6 everyday, going through all the jams and shits. Yeah. I was kind of impressed by my own patience too.

Time to upgrade piano. I have second or even third thoughts. I'm not so good in it and shall I really change it? I love my piano because it's bought by my mom. Or perhaps when I earn enough money first to get another one and keep the current one? Do I have space to put my piano?

Not much time left. I gotta find my own needs and directions. I'm so lost now... Someone?

P.S: Then suddenly half way of writing the blog, I have a thought to 'jam' with my neighbour's daughter. She is only 11 yrs old but can play very good Violin, Erhu, and PIANO! Perhaps can learn a lot from there. :)

More of my working days

It has been two weeks I'm working in NGA.

My poor i7 baby. Now I only get to on it once a week. Most of the time when I'm home it's already 9-10pm.

The first few days I was not assigned to any job yet, thus it makes me sleepy.

Lunch time is a very important time for the colleagues to communicate and joke around. I didn't know since when I've become 'step mother' in my office 囧 *Just because I'm using Samsung Galaxy S?*

I get to remember more of my colleagues names and I was assigned to do some simple jobs on SAP server. There's even Starbucks treat from my boss for a meeting. Woah!

Talked to EW during work time also. He sent me some of his office picture. Damn this guy can play Wii and Xbox in his office. And his boss's wife actually study the same high school. "The world is really small eh" he told me.

Saturday is another day of teaching in JJ. My boss is not in. I was suppose to become the assistant teacher for the day. The kids are damn cute. One of the kid HZ has already know how to answer to some simple English questions today when come to class.

Kids are really cute. They are so naive and innocent. Last week there was this kid Usha who is too happy with the lesson, she tried to hold my hand. But she didn't know how to control her strength, she scratched me. It hurts a little and then it became a scar on my hand. It took one week to heal.

One of my college mate is also working in Mid Valley area now. Next Thursday my lecturer is coming to find us for lunch, and also another college mate. Looking forward for it ^^

My first job - in NGA

My first day to work is quite unlucky. The traffic jammed very badly, I'm late to work a few minutes.

But it's ok. When I reach there, they haven't started yet. There are two new comers like me sitting at the lobby and waiting for further instructions.

We started being introduced to the places of the office. The NGA office rented a whole floor. We went one round about the office and get to know where are the pantries, the toilets, the departments, and get our laptop.

The first thing I get to know about my department, is that my boss is a Spanish guy. He is such a nice and adorable guy. The first day we had lunch, he played his iPhone games Angry Birds Rio, and play throughout the whole lunch time... LoL

The second thing I know about my workplace, is that they have very limited space for employees. When I was there on my first day, I was not even given a seat. I sat at other people's cubicle on the first day, and sit at an empty table for the second day.

Third thing, the laptop they gave is exactly the same as what I got during Intern. Good thing is that the super nice guy in local support added RAM for me right after I complaint that the laptop is way too slow. And he has a really attractive smile :)

This is not too bad. I kind of like my job. :)

To make it more interesting and colorful, I participate in a choir, Show Choir.

This choir plans to do something like Glee.

Today is the first lesson of my Vocal and Choir in Broadway Academy. What I can say is that the feeling of singing comes back again~ Arr~ Like the old days.

I hope I won't be beaten down by the commitment that I have to deal with.

April Fool is coming

Yeah. Tomorrow is April Fool.

But I don't really like April Fool eh. I've been always played like a fool quite often.

But today my brother is so bad. April Fool is not here yet. He prank his friend!

His friend (Let's use A) loves to just leave his car key on the table.

My bro and his another friend (B), plan to prank A. They took his car key, and drove his car away.

And when they want to leave the school, my brother and friend B said, "Hey A, can you fetch me back to XXX?"

So when he went to the parking spot, he had a really weird expression.

Of course bro and friend B were laughing like hell at his back. A couldn't understand what has happened. When he turned back to my bro and friend B, they stop laughing.

Then he tried to press the alarm button on his remote. Some car over the other side has rang.

He couldn't believe his eyes and ears, he looked back to my bro and friend B, and look away towards the direction of the alarm sound. And he looked again to the spot where he parked his car...

Finally he realized what had happen...

Assessment in Experian

Experian called me for an assessment test that is on today, in their office. Their office is located in Cyberjaya, Ericson's Building.

This morning I was supposed to wake up at 7, but ended up dad called me to wake up 20 minutes later.

Google maps says that it will only take 23 mins to reach the destination, but we passed the supposed to go route and took another 10 minutes.

And by then only I realise that I didn't bring any resume with me.

I was not the only one who is taking assessment. People from any backgrounds are taking the assessments, for different positions. The position that I was applying for is C developer.

The assessments started and everyone were doing their assessments quietly. There's this lady who sat beside me, breathing... VERY LOUDLY! And I guess everyone could hear ONLY HER BREATHING SOUND. Some more I think there's a blockage in her nose.

We were all given 1 hour to finish our test. I start doing my test at 8.55am. Then passed it up 35 mins later.

They assessed the test and give the results to us right after the assessment. I get 26/40. Is this a good mark?

The guy asked me to go Mandarin Oriental on Tuesday for another interview session. He asked me to do more research on C for Windows / Linux. He also asked me to be more confident when getting interviewed. I can bring friends along too! Who wants to go with me?

Today I'm mad

I'm mad.

Because some people is so irresponsible.

Never take care of own belongings, then lost it, then take others out of convenience.

So when asking the people where the thing is, the he will tell you 'I don't know', 'I never see it', 'I just took the one that is ready there'.

WTF!

Then say I'm crazy because you took my thing out of convenience. You make me really mad when I want to use it, it's not there.

And so when I'm mad, I'll mad at anything, even with other people that is innocent.

I seldom get mad.

I don't get mad when you are not coming on time. I don't get mad when you suddenly changed my plan. I don't get mad when you use my things.

But I get mad when people used my things and not putting it back to its place. I get really mad at people messing up the place that I have tidied. I get mad when people move my things around which I don't like it.

I hate it when people say something untrue about me and make fun of me out of something that THEY think that is true but which I totally don't agree with it.

When I'm mad I sleep, I don't talk, I ignore.

So what is it that you feel so bad when I remain silence? Just give me some time to calm down. I don't want to argue. And you should also think what you have done that made me mad.

Things that you think is OK doesn't mean is OK for me. This apply to yourself also. Look at yourself before you say I'm crazy.

周杰伦跨时代演唱会……原来已经十年了

星期五晚上去看了他的《跨时代》演唱会，跟舅舅，姐姐，弟弟一起去。说起来，我突然才发现原来周杰伦是我们唯一共同喜欢的艺人，舅舅更是买他每一张专辑的超级粉丝！

一路以来我不是很喜欢去看演唱会，因为觉得人挤人，又没有钱买看舞台正中间的，就觉得很浪费钱……可是我竟然买了看周杰伦演唱会的票。

为何会喜欢周杰伦？本人自认不是什么喜欢追星，或者是留意娱乐新闻的人，说起周杰伦，还有归功於本人的姐姐。我还记得我六年级，跟她一起去买周杰伦范特西的专辑，（那时候还是买卡带的咧！）然后才慢慢知道周杰伦这个人。

我才发现，其实在买专辑之前，我已经在听他的歌了。人家说周杰伦是凭着《可爱女人》当红的，很多人都喜欢。可是很奇怪，他出道的时候我只是喜欢听《星晴》。那时候，我五年级，每天早上电台都会播放这首歌，我也每天总是听了才上学，听都不腻（到现在还是喜欢！）。

人家说周杰伦是亚洲天王，实至名归。我是那种听歌不听歌词的人，很少说有中文歌的旋律会让我很喜欢的。听他的歌第一个印象就是歌好听，然后在看方文山为他写的歌词的时候，再和整首歌听多一次，就会感动。（当然，不是每一首歌我都很喜欢，本人不太爱rap和hip hop 的歌。）

演唱会接近尾声的时候，他播了关于他自己10年历程的短片，我哭了，真的。过后他竟然唱《超人不会飞》～更让我泪流不停！……我才发现，原来我听了周杰伦的歌，10年了。他说，可能以后他会听到歌迷说，“我是听你的歌长大的”。呵呵呵，我想我说跟你的歌一起成长，更为贴切吧！

对了，我想我在演唱会上表现有点疯狂了吧。姐姐说我有social undesirable behaviour。妈妈说是什么，弟弟就跟她解释：“就是会影响市容，造成社会不安的行为”。我囧！

P.S: 看了周杰伦的演唱会，更让我觉得当时候歌神张学友来马演唱会我没有去看真的是很可惜！

I put a lot of Samsung in this post

Daddy went to work again. Gonna miss him.

Just bought some IT products. Around 400 ++ to replace broken IT products at home. (The stupid Fujistu mouse).

I always feel it's too bad that Samsung has already stopped producing keyboard and mouse. Their keyboard and mouses are cheaper and last longer. Now I'm still using their mouse that is bought more than 3 years ago (which I think around 5 years). Same goes with the keyboard that my mom is using right now.

We went to low yat quite late at around 9pm. My dad's favourite ALL IT has already close shop. So we went to the shop that I bought my i7, Viewnet. Bought two classic Logitech keyboard and mouse, China brand router, cables, wifi adapter, pendrives.

My dad ask the salesman to give discount. The salesman just cancel out the price tag, write a lower price. From a few riggit to 10++ ringgit. My dad say, “Give more discount leng chai.... Wah... so much discount. Tonight you are the most leng chai salesman here!"

The salesman reply to my dad, "No lah uncle. I leng chai also not as leng chai as you~"

*I think he is already tired, want to go home soon so he just give discount without further argue*

I LOLed aside.

After that we went to Samsung LCD store to look at the LCD/LED monitors, comparing the prices. I've stolen my dad's monitor so he need to buy one to replace the stolen one. Then you guess what we saw... Samsung come out with their keyboards and mouses again! RUGI OH~~~~~~! We bought two sets of Logitech just now!

Bro and Sis said wanna eat Lou Yau Kuai Kuai at LG. Me and dad wanna go toilet. So we say we will meet at LG later.

When we came out from toilet, we saw a new Samsung Shop. This shop is only for Samsung mobiles. We went and see if there are any new products with android. The shop is full with samsung phones, REAL phones. Not like in NOKIA, they put TOYS at the show room only.

We look at Samsung Galaxy 5, it's cute. But my dad is not so convinced with the phone. He just doesn't like it although it's kind of cheap. Then I think the salesman can read my dad's mind. He introduce another phone which I haven't heard of. He said it's a smaller version of Samsung Galaxy S.

There was no show unit for that phone so I asked if I could try out that phone. He said ok and went into the store room to get a whole new unit, on it and let me test. Woah! Not like NOKIA, superly Kiam Siap and only let you touch the TOYS. And when you are not satisfy with the product they just wouldn't bother you.

It's Samsung Galaxy Ace babe! They just came out with it in less than 2 weeks. No wonder I haven't heard of it. It is sold in less than 1k. Woah! My dad straight away bought it. The C6 is just too troublesome that made him did such a decision in such a short period of time.

The phone is cute eh~ I installed some apps for my dad and taught him how to play. But it has only 2GB of memory card so I didn't do much like my Galaxy Baby.

It was a tiring day. We went to our previous house to move some other things to the new house, especially the All-in-One printer. I felt funny when my brother was copying something from his laptop screen to go to school :D.

Reached home around 11pm and setup the router and the printer. They work well with the previous settings. So I didn't do much on the networking side.

We have internet with the speed of this. Yeah, streamyx 4M. The speed test is showing some results that is so positive, but when I'm using it, it's shittier than that of my previous house. I guess the jumpers here all spoil already. Damn them!

Such a long post. Long time never wrote such a long post.

I wanna update on the performance I did on Sunday. Hopefully can get the videos asap :P

搬新家后

我搬新家了！

靠近拉曼大学那边，二手的。

然后其实说要去新加坡找工作，然后又因为新家很美丽所以又有一点不舍得。家人建议说在cyberjaya 先做着，然后新加坡工作可以慢慢找。

然后终于有了我们的音乐空间，没有什么隔音可言，还时不时听到邻居在拉二胡，弹钢琴，吹笛子。可是还是很开心！可以在这里 jam 了！不过这么久了，才听过弟弟打过一次鼓。：（

婆婆在这里也住得很开心，说每天晚上都很好睡，环境也很宁静。这里电视机很多。不过internet 就还没有，星期五要去催tmnut screamyx了。

一说到星期五，ekwyn 去了新加坡，星期五有一个面试，然后他还蛮喜欢的工作。在这里祝他成功 ^^

还有还有，明天我伯伯也是搬新家，有入伙酒席，婆婆一定很开心。

我其实在家里没事做，只是每天唱唱歌，弹弹琴，然后打打电脑，可是还是好象没有自己的时间。因为到时到侯我就要想着家里老的有没有饭吃，这个星期的菜要买什么才好，然后帮爸爸做跑跑腿。然后时间就这样子没有了。

说起来，妈妈每天都是这样过。可是她没有我幸运，要烦家里的经济、公司，又要回家煮饭，晚上又不能睡觉，婆婆又有事没事给麻烦她，实在辛苦了她。虽然说现在暂时不用烦家里的琐碎事，可是工作上她的压力还是很大。妈妈真的很伟大的咧！

还有还有，我真的很笨。什么地方都不会去，连今天要去买菜的econsave 都要弟弟陪我才敢去。幸亏傻大姐在家没有工作，还可以说可以去去那些地方，帮爸爸做跑腿。

今天收到爸爸的电话，很开心！他终于肯搬出去了！好佩服我的干妈能够说服他，以后有好日子过了！爸爸说他自己肯为自己所做过的事认错了，现在他至少得到了我一点点的尊重。还有还有，忘了谁提议说他搬出去了就要请他吃饭 ^^

还有还有，星期日有一个演出，在ecurve，希望赶快背熟那些很难背的歌词，星期六的练习就不要再看歌词了。

还有还有，爸妈就快回来了，有点期待^^

Then we say we want to Lou Sang only we'll get the Yee Sang.

But we went to Jusco that time the Yee Sang were finished, so we went to Sushi King to buy it instead :P

Two packs of Salmon Sashimi, RM23.10.

When we were back, we went to next door to get the Lok Yau = free~

Total for our Yee Sang = 16.80 + 23.10 + Free Lok Yau = RM 39.90, with the sashimi almost all came out from the plate when we were Lou-ing.

Main Dish: Home cooked vegetables and RM12 Ku Lou Yok.

Dessert: Two pieces of cakes from Secret Recipe.

How's my new year?

Eve, eat lunch at Wai Po's house, reunion dinner at Pizza Hut. Went to my new house to seal ang pau packets with mom.

1st day, went for work and CNY shopping. Yeah I know it should be done before CNY but this is the only time we've got.

2nd day, went to Wai Po's house for lunch.

3rd day, work resumed. Sister's friends came to our new house for a visit. Wan Ling sleep with me in my brother's room.

4th day, went to Mid Valley with my god mom. Went to look see look see the Royale bungalow show unit. Heard that there is Lion Dance in my aunt's house but I didn't go. Family work resumed. Nelly, Yeesan and Wohyon came to my new house for a visit. Luckily they still can wait until my mom comes back and get their ang paus ^^. Popo also came back home.

5th day, work and work and work also. I woke up quite late tho :P. Work is to be finished by today. Mom and Dad won't be around in KL after tomorrow.

Things to do for the week:

Go to school and collect the course completion letter.
Bring grandma to Hospital on 10th.

Keep up and find a job asap. The life is kindda messed up without a proper job and income.

My sister is going to buy a new phone again. Android? Symbian?

Something I discover

I looked back at my photo albums in Facebook. There's this moment when my friend asked me to format her laptop. It's an Asus this time.

When she gave me her laptop, it had the blue screen of death.

I boot her laptop using the Ubuntu 8.04 Live CD to back up her files.

This is how it looks like when it is booted into Ubuntu.

The mouse is so cute eh.

So the next day I try to recover her OS by using the recovery CD. Can you see that? Got error wor.

The word ERROR so big. First time see in my life.

And did you notice the error message? Not human readable at all.

I tried another time. Successfully boot into windows but... just hang. Still cannot.

So I use another method.

Can boot into windows... but...

Can you see the resolution? The graphic card is spoiled.

She took to Asus centre and changed it to a brand new graphic card.

This is how the story ends...

Around last 2 weeks, I received a call from Singapore.

"Sudian arrr~ Help me arrr~ Why my laptop is not firing up? A moment ago before I restart was Okay one wor~~ Sudian arrr~~"

I asked her to try rebooting a few times and notice some other things. I suspect that it's either her HDD spoiled, or her Mobo.

We are 345km apart according to Google Map, so it's hard to diagnose like that. I suggested her to take her laptop for a checkup.

Two days after that, I received a call from Singapore.

Confirmed, Mobo spoiled. I laugh at her.. Muahahahaaa! I suggested her to change a new laptop when graphic card spoiled when I helped her to format her laptop last time.

Now she's living a Campus life without a lappy. Poor girl ^^

I went to this eGENTING Programming Competition.

And today, is the presentation night.

We get free dinner, and a certification of Participant.

But among our gang, SJ got to the top 10 with MERIT woohoo!

A table of ten, we get another guy who tag along at our table. And the world is so small ei... He came from SJ's intern company Xperian. Jason started the conversation with him, we had a little chat. He introduced himself as Cho. He came here alone.

Dinner started at 7.30pm after long speech.

Steven and me were excited to go in front to take photo of SJ getting the certificate. We waited waited and waited. They forgot about SJ so sad! He didn't get to take photo with the other winners!

But Cho won the 2nd runner up prize yo!

After the dinner, we went in front to take a picture of SJ receiving the certificate.

The guys waited with me for my parents to come and fetch me. Waited for almost an hour. So nice of them.

" I expressed my interest in becoming their tutor and get registered on 9th December 2010, with ID 1054 [Details in Email-01 and Email-02] Note that in second point of Terms and Conditions, they said that the registration fee of MYR 30.00 will be refunded if no confirmation of any students being assigned by the agency within 2 weeks' time.

Upon successful registration, I received sms alerts of tuition cases from this lady who claimed herself as Latipah (016-2025999) which appear to have the same mobile number as Alexis. [You can see from Email-01 signature]. On 14 Dec 2010, I bank in RM30 to their account [as stated in Email-02].

I didn't reply the cases because they do not suit my conditions. I did message Latipah to send alerts around Cheras area and she promised that she will.

The problem begun after I've banked in the amount to their bank account on 14th December 2010. There were less or no sms alerts at all after that.

I sent an email to Alexis asking for refund on 5th, 10th & 14th Jan 2011 [Email-03,04,05]. I also message Latipah regarding the refund. I was disappointed when I was told my account was terminated on 25 Dec 2010, without any notice. I still get no response about refund until today.

Now I'm disappointed with this agency. I feel that they have no integrity. They did not give me reasonable excuses and chose to ignore me. On the other hand, if this is registration fee, why would it be banked in to a personal account of WONG SWEE FONG? Why don't they use a company account?

I know this may sound very small since it's not involving a big sum, however the perpetrators will continue to do this to more unsuspecting people and get away with a bigger gain. If this incident doesn't go noticed, who knows how many new cases that will be "inspired" from this. What fear me most is that I provided all my personal details to this agency. I fear that they might take my personal details and to further do things that could harm me.

My 21st PINK Birthday Party Part 2

Finally I've got my photos! Aww Damn I LOVE THE PHOTOS!

Here I should talk in details about my party ^^ since I've got my photos.

Remember the itenerary my sister designed?

Around 6.00pm, my guests started to arrived. Some are early, some are late (either living too far or something on). Thanks all for coming to my party.

My 21st birthday very special. I have two cakes!

One we bought ourselves, and one from David ^^

I want to update my blog today. But then I saw this:

Preparation: We actually made an invitation card. But we didn't send them out. The timeline was too packed.

Anyway, it will still be appreciated. All designed by me.

Then the Itinerary, all designed by my sister:

Thanks to my uncle who send all the tables and chairs for us.

It's a last minute thing because we've spent most of the time preparing for the party.

So before the show, we made sure all the verse we would be performing, will be the same with our practices.

Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 7 - Last Day, and a whole new year ( 1st Jan 2011)

Our last day in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

I think I've lost the pictures for my last day in Sabah.

I kind of forget what we have done during our last day. But I will try hard to take down whatever I remembered.

We woke up in the morning, clean up ourselves like the past 6 days. But today, we have things to do:

1. Pack to go back to KL.
2. Get the frozen seafood from Fung Seng.

It's not fun about packing things, still we have places to go!

Breakfast, we went to eat Fish Paste again. This time, we gonna buy a lot of Ham Chim Beng to bring back to KL!

Time to get our fish from Fung Seng.

On our way to there, something happened.

The radio was playing some song, and my sister sang along with it. My brother punch her.

LOLed~

We want to to Inanam. Fung Seng is there.

More fish more fish, we went to my dad's office to take our fish bought in Pasar Ikan.

Then we went to Bukit Padang that my dad has always been talking about during our stay there.

He said he always goes jogging in Bukit Padang. We went there for a short while.

There is even a water park inside there.

Just went one round and went back home. Because the fish are still in the boot, we have to keep them frozen.

Continue to pack our things, it was about around 1-2 pm. Our flight is at 5.35pm, means that we have to reach airport at around 3pm.

Using our small myvi, we have to go two rounds to get all our luggage up. Luckily the airport is quite near, 15 mins drive from my dad's place.

*Every time when there's somewhere that we want to go in KK, my dad say, "Very near! 2KM only!" And it turned out to be very true. Soon after we found out that, he actually had somewhere to go within the 2km distance... LOL*

After checked-in, we went home again to get our 2nd batch of luggage. We went to lunch, before we depart.

Reached airport again at 4.25pm. We still have time. Lepak-lepak in KKIA.

My dad met my uncle's old friend in KK. Bersapa-sapa.

4.45pm, we go into the gate.

5.15pm, we go on board. We were suppose to go on board on 5.05pm, so means that the flight is delayed a bit.

The weather wasn't good. The flight is like going on a roller coaster session OMG! I pray hard hard during the flight. And I feel that I'm so lucky to be here again to write this blog. I arrived safely, alive, in KLIA at around 8-8.30pm.

But damn we can only get all our checked-in luggage back at 9.20pm!

We hired a LIMO Perdana Taxi because we have a lot of luggage. This guy a pro driver. He used only one hand to drive (Left hand only). And he only puts signal once during his drive.

I am alive, with all my seafood, home. :)

Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 6 ( 31th Dec 2010)

It's last day of 2010. I'm still in Sabah.

What are we doing today?

A lot.

Daddy brought us to eat breakfast, in one of the coffee shop.

We pass by this.

It's actually the Sabah version of Toto or Magnum.

Then we pass by the shop lots.

The culture there is very different from KL. They can just put as many tables and chairs outside their shop. Even ordering from different shops. But you will be charged differently depending on which shop you sit.

At first we want to go this shop to eat.

But you see, no seat lah~

So lor we go another one to eat. Very hungry...

My dad kept telling us we are going Tai Meng to eat.

But actually is Fu Yuan lah!

No wonder my dad will mistaken them. Cuz their signboard are mostly the same.

Next station, beach!

Remember I mentioned about the Plaza Low Yat of Sabah? It's called Kompleks Karamunsing. I asked my sister to take a picture of the complex with her camera.

And all she did is just taking the name of the complex. 囧！

Now we are on our way to the beach.

We can see the beach already!

While going to find a free parking... My dad asked us to take this picture.

But it was actually raining la. Luckily my dad opened an account in CIMB bank and the bank give him 5 umbrellas. Each of us got ourselves with one umbrella and start walking towards the beach.

Raining still got people sitting there.

And best of all...

Finally when we going back to our car, my sister's umbrella spoiled. Patah.

It was raining. So we went home after that.

I wasn't feeling well after I got home. Caught a cold. Stayed home and sleep.

My family then went to eat the fish paste in Jin Jin again.

And they went to my favourite mamak food without me T_T

My dad bought me a Pei Pa Gou and fish paste mee hon when they got back. I felt better after a nap.

So at night, we went to our craving seafood porridge that we ate on our first day. This time, we gonna order one pot of porridge each!

Usually we have to wait to be seated. But today, new year eve, not much people in the restaurant. I guess they were busy counting down. We were lucky to get a seat right away and ordered.

I noticed that most of the restaurant in Sabah put their chopsticks, spoons and forks in a clear container on each table. I feel that this is more hygiene compared to those in KL.

This is the pork Kolo Mee. We ate on our first day, but still, we want to eat again. It's just too tasty! Ordered by dad.

Finally our pots of seafood porridge has arrived! Yum Yum!

Finished the food!

It's new year eve. We asked our dad to bring us around the town to see how the new year eve looks like. But we do not want to go to places with crowds. We decided to stay in car, and take pictures.

There's one time while my sister wind down her mirror to take pictures in the dark, two ang mos passed by, and say Happy New Year to us. My sister smiled and replied “Happy New Year to you too!".

It was quite jam. Our car stopped there for quite a while and the Ang Mos too.

But as a Malaysian, she also quickly wind up her window then didn't take what she want to take. So paiseh. Our culture so different from the ang mos. They were so friendly and we tend to form a shield around us. Sigh.

Then my dad was telling us he ate a very tasty imported sausage in his friend's party. He wished to eat that again and that can be bought here in Tong Hing Supermarket.

This supermarket only sells imported stuffs from Aussie, Taiwan or Japan.

Even Milo my dad said. But when we were there, they no longer sell imported Milo.

It's 31st of the month! And guess what we saw this!

Yes Baskin Robin! But this logo.. is... err... kindda... how old is it?

The bakery. This is where I bought very expensive loafs lor.. sigh...

There were discounts for bakeries after 8pm. We went there around 8.30pm I think. So we get to eat the cheap cream puffs and cheese cake! Tasty yo yum yum!

We then went home, and didn't want to join any crowd for New Year countdown.

How do we celebrate new year eve? We watched a movie at home ^^

Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 5 ( 30th Dec 2010)

30^th Decemeber 2010

Today is our buy souvenir day.

But before that… of course is MAKAN!

My dad brought us to Kuo Man 国民 to have fish ball （鱼滑） noodles.

This shop had once been in Ah Xian food show before.

Oh well, not only fish ball noodles, they have a lot of others. See their menu?

You can order chicken, beef and pork too!

Their price lists.

Look at their drinks.

Waiting for our food to be served. All of us ordered different fish balls mixed with different things. I ordered the one mixed with fish slices.

Finally our food is here!

You ask me if it is delicious? I would say...

YES YES YES!

I ordered the soup type, this is the dry type.

My Nestum was nice too!

One thing I like about Sabah is that they have Nestum everywhere! Not like in Subang they all don't drink Nestum wan...

They are also reknown for their Ham Chim Beng （咸煎饼）。

This thing is so damn YUMMY! OMG~ We said we are going to buy this home to KL and let our grandma to taste it!

Now is the time when we then went to our souvenir place…

Guess where are we heading?

Yeah! If you come to Sabah and not buying any seafood for your souvenir, you hadn’t really come to Sabah yet.

My dad was bargaining with the fish seller.

No more pictures after this, because our hands were full of fish and prawns.

I think my dad bought more than 20kg of fish and prawns lah. Luckily we have 4 of us, can carry 80kg in total of luggage onto the plane ^^

My dad was called to meeting at his work place, so my mom drove.

There are two types of female driver in this world:

1. Noob Driver

2. Horrible Driver

And I guess my mom is the latter one. But still, we managed to get home safe and sound yeah!

We waited at home for my dad to finish his meeting, while going online and doing some work for him. After we got his call, we all went to his work place to fetch him.

This is where my dad is working.

Second place of souvenir we are heading. But before that… we were all hungry.

We went to the shop that we bought buns on our second trip to eat the buns. We were too hungry and that’s the shop that we passed by.

We ordered all buns, and my mom order chicken rice.

This is also called bun according to the shop.

Not enough still, we went to our second souvenir destination.

There’s a pool where my dad parked his car. Nice pool.

Fung Seng Seafood Supplier Sdn. Bhd.

All the seafood were packed nicely, and can keep up to 30 months. Cool!

Too many seafood which I do not know their names. I think this is sea cucumber.

Some more they are selling ice creams. But only Ice cream tubes, very expensive eh!

Let's learn some fish.

They are selling drinks too! The drinks are worth drinking (than the ice cream). We had the sea coconut. Yum~

After paying the seafood we bought, we didn't straight away take the seafood. We put at their fridge and will pick them up on our departure date.

We were all hungry...

Remember the Char Kueh Teow that we couldn't eat before? This time it's opened!

So what's the different between KL CKT and Sabah CKT? It's the prawns!

And we ordered beancurd barley.

Well this is only the first stop. We went to the next stop for the infamous no Ajinomoto mixed rice.

We went home after that, watched drama and sleep. Tomorrow is gonna be another work and foodie day ^^

Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 4 ( 29th Dec 2010)

29^th December 2010

It is a working day.

I can’t remember what time I woke up today. But we have no trip plan.

No sun ray around my dad’s house. So he went to the other house which rented by the engineers to hang our clothes.

We then went to Kheng Hin for breakfast. Daddy said the Char Keuy Teow there will give a lot of prawns.

But when we get there, the stall was not yet opened.

Fine then, we ate kolo noodles and nasi lemak.

Not bad though!

Not satisfied, we went to another station for our second breakfast!

We already had our breakfast, so we only ordered 2 sets of beef noodles for my dad and brother, with side orders.

My brother was unhappy with the first breakfast. You see?

Here came our food. *Droollllsss*

We went back home after that and start working for my dad, nothing much to record here.

We skipped our lunch and look forward for our dinner time.

Dinner time we decided to go to Hill Top Coffee Shop for our dinner.

It was raining outside.

My dad said only kiam siap ppl will belanja during rainy days hohoho ^^

The waiter is taking our orders.

This time we want to eat wet wet Mayonnaise Prawns again. I'm not sure what my dad ordered because I was around taking photos here and there.

I don't care lah later our food will come. So here our food came.

My dad asked if we want to try the special pudding in here. The puddings are made inside the coconut. We were all excited about it.

Now we were thinking how are we gonna finish it...

Still able to! Hahahaahaa~!

We were all so satisfy and full. We then went to our cousin house for some job’s business. He gave birth to a baby 10 months ago… The baby is a GIANT BABY man! 10 months old baby look like a 1 year old plus infant. But the baby is so cute and adorable ^^

Went back home after that. We continue our drama again, while I was updating my blog.

Time to sleep. Tomorrow gonna be working and makan day again ^^
